One of the most popular times to visit Botswana is during the dry season (June–October) as wildlife sightings are at their most reliable. This time of year also allows for romantic boating opportunities by barge, boat or mokoro due to the annual inundation of the Okavango Delta. For those looking for a more private honeymoon experience with lower rates, the period from November through March is an excellent time to visit, when green season brings an abundance of baby antelopes, predators, lush landscapes, dramatic skies and migratory birds.
