Our empowerment programmes work to create self-sustaining communities with sustainable livelihoods.

Investing in local communities

The communities surrounding our camps benefit from payments for use of concessions, job creation and increased economic activity. We’re also involved in financing small-scale businesses and farmers that feed into the tourism supply chain, ensuring the community benefits directly from our tourism efforts. This reduces habitat encroachment and poaching, as wildlife benefits from a greater awareness of the value that it brings to the community.
