We are proud to share our nominations in the prestigious Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, reflecting our continued commitment to pioneering conservation and hospitality-led tourism across Africa.

 

As custodians of some of the world’s last remaining truly wild and untamed places, we recognise the responsibility we carry – to protect these landscapes now, and for generations to come. Through every guest experience, we strive to go beyond hospitality – immersing travellers in remarkable environments, guiding them through vast private concessions and fostering a deeper connection with the natural world, while supporting responsible growth in the regions and communities where we operate.

It is this philosophy that makes these nominations so meaningful to us. Being part of the Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards 2026 is something we value deeply, and we hope this recognition not only encourages support for your favourite camps, but also inspires future journeys into Africa’s most extraordinary landscapes.

 

This year, 28 of our camps have been recognised in the Resorts category across the US and UK editions of the awards, alongside our inclusion in the Tour Operators & Specialists category in the UK edition.

 

These awards are based solely on reader nominations and votes. We invite guests, readers and travellers who share our vision of safeguarding Africa’s wild spaces to cast their votes online. Voting is open until 30 June 2026 and winners will be announced online and in the November 2026 print editions.

Namibia

Situated along the Atlantic coastline, Namibia is the fifth largest country in Africa. It shares land borders with Angola and Zambia to the north, Botswana to the east and South Africa to the south. Our luxurious, remote and intimate camps are found across Damaraland, Sossusvlei, the Hoanib and Skeleton Coast, and the banks of the Kunene River in the Hartmann’s Valley.

Zambia

We operate in two of Zambia’s wildlife havens: on the banks of the Zambezi with access to World Heritage Site Mosi-oa-Tunya, and within Kafue National Park, a premier Zambian safari destination. Situated within Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, Toka Leya is a short drive from Livingstone, while seasonal camps Shumba and Busanga Bush Camp are located in Kafue, Zambia’s oldest and largest protected area.

Zimbabwe

Zimbabwe is a landlocked country, with South Africa, Botswana, Zambia and Mozambique as neighbours. Two legendary African rivers form its northern and southern boundaries: the mighty Zambezi and the languid Limpopo. Hwange is Zimbabwe’s largest national park.
